Cancellation Policy

Here at Peak Adventures we understand that things happen and occasionally get in the way of planned events. We thought that it was only fair to outline how we deal with these instances.

Cancellation due to weather

Any of our planned activities and experiences, are subject to suitable weather conditions, availability of guides or instructors and as a result could be cancelled or postponed at short notice. In the unlikely event  Peak Adventures makes changes or cancels your activity, or when others cancel making the activity unviable, you will be notified as soon as possible, and alternatives offered. Alternative dates may be offered or a voucher code to enable you to rebook.

If nature plays its part through inclement or dangerous weather e.g. Snow, water, wind, landslide etc. we may be forced to change an activity. This may involve a change of location or route choice depending on the type of conditions. We will inform you of this as soon as possible and after we have carried out a risk assessment. Refunds are not normally given under these circumstances.

It is recommended that you take out suitable cancellation insurance to cover any cost you may have incurred due to an event cancellation.

Participant Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your booking then the following will apply:

  • More than 8 weeks – full refund minus a 10% booking fee

  • Participant cancellations within 8 weeks of the booked event are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellation up to 14 days prior to your booked event will be no refund.

Minimum Pre-Booked Requirements

The activities and adventures we undertake require planning and organising to ensure a successful trip. We therefore, will only run our trips, if we have received the minimum numbers of bookings to make the event viable on the day. In the case of minimum numbers not being achieved in advance, you will be notified as soon as possible. As we don’t want you to miss out, a credit code will be sent to you. 

Natural Disasters

No refunds will be offered as natural disasters are out of our control. A credit code will be issued to allow your activity to be rebooked.

Covid 19

We will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, without limitation, arising from contracting of Covid 19 whilst engaging in any of our activities. We will of course honour your booking going forward and will issue a credit code.

Credit Codes

All credit codes will be valid for 1 year from date of issue.
